Dick Ramsey has been an avid boater since he was a toddler. Water is in his blood, right through his ancestry sailing barks in the 1800s. Getting his feet wet on Lake Huron then moving to the Mid Atlantic where he was an aspiring Olympic swimmer, his first boat was a 14’ plywood row boat with a 3hp Martin. At age 11 Dick tried his first entrepreneurial endeavor taxiing oysterman to shore for supplies. Moving to the North East put Dick in the proximity of his first real job at Rex Marin Center in Norwalk, CT and from there had a 20 year career in the recreational Marine Business. After leaving the marine business, Dick founded “Action Video”, a production Co. catering to Corporate and Retail establishments producing training videos and commercials for local cable networks.

After 10 years of television and capturing the perfect moments, Dick took a position running the IMAX Theater at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk. This large format theater is where Dick gained an appreciation for flawless presentation. Now Dick is combining a passion for boating and a talent for photography and computer operation.
